How do we book you?

The process is simple, just reach out to check availability. If we are available we will hold the date for you and set up a consultation. We Skype or use Google Hangouts for couples that are not local. After the consultation we ask for a 20% retainer and a signed contract to. The balance is due by wedding day.

What is your style?

We define our style as a hybrid of lifestyle and documentary. We approach each shot with artistic intention and aim to capture the beautiful feel of the day that is unique to each couple. During the ceremony and reception we are as unobtrusive as possible focusing on capturing the events as they unfold. For couple’s portraits we provide direction and guidance as needed to create beautiful portraits. We also believe details are an important part of the story so we take plenty of those. Adjectives we would use to describe our style are organic, artful, emotive, and authentic.

What are your travel fees?

For those weddings that are over 80 miles from Portland there is a fee of $75.

For interstate & international weddings, the travel fee is generally the cost of transportation and hotel for those destinations requiring overnight stays. We will provide you with a travel quote -just ask!

Do you always shoot together?

Depends. Small and intimate weddings we feel confident shooting alone. We generally shoot larger, full day weddings together. We can provide our recommendation given the exact plans of your weddings.

What if we are nervous in front of the camera?

We get you. Our job is to put you at ease and give you guidance. We have lots of ways of making you less nervous and our clients almost always tell us that we helped them feel comfortable in front of the camera.

How soon should I book?

There is no science to this. There are some dates where we will be booked over a year in advance while another date might still be available a few months before the wedding. Generally, if you are getting married June through September, you’ll want to book sooner rather than later.

How many images will I receive?

You can expect approximately 50-70 images per hour of coverage.

Do I get the digital files?

Of course! The high resolution digital files are all yours-sans watermarks and perfect for printing. We provide the print release as part of your contract. We also offer albums and highly recommend printing your favorite photos either with us or on your own.

Will you help us plan our elopement/city hall wedding?

Of course. We can help suggest locations, walk you through timing, and provide recommendations.

When do we get to see our photos?

We will have the collection of photographs ready for you to view 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. Each image is individually edited with great care not something to be rushed.

Do you make wedding albums?

Yes, we create bound fine art wedding albums.
